Have a Great Weekend!

Up and out for a walk with Heather. Moving my body post chemo is no joke. As soon as my feet start tingling I take that as the message to lace up and it helps each time. After the walk I went to get more berries and did a pillow change and porch clean up, The afternoon brought a lovely visit with a dear long time friend, Janet who brought me some meals and a homemade rhubarb pie! I haven’t had rhubarb in years and I love it! My taste buds have been way off which I didn’t even think of as I was cutting in to this pie and as soon as the fork touched my tongue, I could actually taste the pie, and it was delicious! It was like I was winning twice. Homemade pie with love and working taste buds. I imagine it tastes even better than I can tell and my family all agreed- delicious! There are 2 pieces left and my name is on both of them.

Kalvin is doing good post op and he’s looking cute as ever! He’s been getting lots of texts to check in on him. He’s touched a lot of lives and hearts. Isn’t he just the cutest in his little recovery suit?!

I had a FaceTime with Anne today and some good laughs. I’m so thankful for my friends!

This weekend, I promised myself to lay low and I’m hoping for no nausea. I was feeling great today and got all of my lose ends cleaned up so the weekend can be restful. So far, no nausea and so I’m doing better than last treatment! So far, so good! May your weekend be warm and cozy and filled with yummy treats and love! xoxo
